well my day basically goes like this
i got up went to B&Q bought the bubble wrap for the ponds
gets home and fits the bubble wrap to the big pond in the dark and cold i now have chapped lips (the small one will have to wait till sun)
then come in and give the big tank a quick clean and then spilt tank water on the floor
dont worry things get worse

i then makes tea whilst having tea noticed the light on the small tank flashing on and off
so after tea has a look at the light finds condensation in the caseing
so i undo the casing to lets the water out, dave then comes along and says plug it in so i do whilst he has a check of the bulb and fitting
he then says thats knackered passes me the caseing and walks off, im then left balancing the light, well before i can swith the plug off
can you see where this is going
the middle of the light fitting drops out of the casing straight into the tank ,yes it was still pugged in
how the hell i wasnt fried i dont know  the fish are fine to thank god

so after having a arguement with dave
we strip the fitting down to try and dry it out
i went to get my hairdryer so i could dry the bits out, plugs the hairdryer in switches it on and jeezze blue flash, flames and smoke
so as you can see not agood day really
luckly the light fitting still works but the bulb is popped and is cheap to replace and our dan rang earlier today asking me what i wanted for christmas and guess what i asked for yes a new hairdryer i think i jinked myself   Wacko
