our carls little hamster "richard" died last night RIP he had been poorly for about a week and past away in his sleep Cry

he was the 4th hamster and it was hard having to bury them every 2-3 yrs, it hurts so much i know they are only a little furry but we spent alot of time with them, handling everyday god is sad and im crying now
we couldnt bear having an empty spot where the cages had been
so we took our carl to pets at home and we came home with a 8 week old baby guinea pig now called "geoffrey" dont ask me why our carl named him he says he looks like a geoffrey  yb624
hes our new little man and cute

his new house

he soon found his bed

It is very sad when we have to say goodbye to our pets. Of course they by nature do not live that long in our terms but we grow to love them and don't want to see them go. I am sure that Geoffrey will enjoy his time with you.

My missus has had quite a lot of hampster, but unfortunately they die too soon. Cry
One of the little things ate half of my jumper that I left near the cage once, lol.
Thats an amazing shot you got of him!!!

RIP Boo Hoo

thanks guys

i keep calling geoffrey richard  Wacko havent got me head round him not being here yet Sad

well geoffrey is funny he loves to snuggle into my dressing gown our carl thinks he prefers me to him but i know its the dressing gown he prefers lol
we gave in a taste of tomato he wasnt impressed so today tried him with cucumber an apple nope not impressed
so tried him with grass and he loves it one happy little piggy
going to try him with cauli and cabbage see if he like these
apparently they are like human babies you have to keep trying them with different foods to find what they like and their tastes change as they get older so if they didnt like one thing when younger they may like it as they age Wacko
